From idea to reservation
Preparing a trip: useful steps and tools
Prepare a trip in this order: check its feasibility, build the course, measure time and budget, compare conditions, and then arrange the departure. Each step leads to a guide or tool that can be used.
Do you think a term in the estimate is ambiguous? See Glossary of terms of comparison before bringing benefits closer together.
1. Verify that the project is feasible
Note dates, travellers, nationalities, mobility constraints and maximum budget before choosing a trip. Consult the official advice for the regions visited and each transit. A destination in the catalogue is not a safety recommendation or a confirmation of entry fee.
At the end of this step, keep a list of the conditions to be confirmed and the beneficiaries to contact before paying.
2. Select the basics and preserve the time on site
A list of places is not enough to build a route. Group tours around a base, check access, and compare a tour with a change of accommodation. Count the door to door trips and a margin for rest. Book first the accesses or connections on which the entire route depends.
At the end of this step, you must be able to explain where you are sleeping, how you join each base and what you withdraw if a link becomes impossible.
3. Compare full costs
Use the same travelers, nights and benefits for each option. Separate group expenses, per person prices and per night amounts. Add luggage, transfers, meals, taxes and options. A locked-in bond requires a capacity to pay even if it is not consumed.
At the end of this step, the total must be within your ceiling with the margin you have chosen.
4. Review benefits and conditions before payment
Check names, dates, airports or stations, room category, baggage allowance and time limits. Identify who sells, who transports and who will respond in case of problems. Keep the applicable terms and the detailed estimate: the price alone does not describe the contract.
Azatour does not reserve or take any payment. Price searches and reservation continue with the selected seller.
5. Preparing for arrival and rescue solutions
Keep confirmations, contact information and documents required offline, and then check the information that may have changed since booking. Prepare an alternative in case of late arrival, loss of telephone or transportation incident.
